About Floem
A metering group is a unit in which several metering points and several users can be combined. A metering group can be used to manage access to the metering points it contains.
In the metering group settings you can create new metering groups.
In the new window you can add various pieces of information such as name, description, address, etc.
Additionally, you can manage the access in the "User Access" tab.
In the metering group settings, you can add metering points to a metering group.
Select "Add Metering Point" in the dropdown. Then, you can select from the available metering points in the dropdown which ones to add to the metering group.
All users in a metering group have access to all metering points in the metering group. However, there are different roles:
- View & edit: This role gives you full access to the metering points of the metering group
- View only: Here you can view the data of the points on the dashboards and other overview pages, but you cannot adjust any settings.
If an organization has access to a metering group, all members of the organization have access to the metering points in the group.
The metering groups can be managed in the metering group settings. Select "Edit" for the relevant metering group to open a new window. Various settings can be adjusted here.
To manage access, select "User access". A list is displayed with all users and the respective roles who currently have access to the metering group.
A new user can be added by entering and adding the e-mail address of a registered Floem user. If an entire organization is to be granted access to the metering group, you can enter the organization ID instead of an e-mail address. You can find the organization ID in the organization settings. By adding an organization, every member of the organization gains access to the metering group.

The license can be adjusted in the Metering Point settings. There you can see the current license of the device, which you can also modify. You can choose between different license models and different billing methods. For load management devices, the number of available licenses for charging stations can be configured there. Please note that certain settings such as payment details can currently only be set once and cannot be adjusted afterwards. If you still wish to make a change, please contact support.
