EVTEC Modbus 1.0
Please read the EVTEC page completely before starting the configuration.
1. Basic principle
For the integration of an EVTEC charging station via Modbus 1.0, each charging connector (plug) must be created as a separate charging station.
Only in this way can the load management function correctly between the individual charging connectors.
Important:
- The same IP address is used for all charging connectors.
- Port: 5020
2. Selecting the correct plugs
Several plug options are available during configuration.
⚠ Important: The variants marked with “(Legacy)” must always be used.
3. Technical configuration of the plugs

- Charging connector 1: always DC
- Charging connector 2: AC or DC (depending on configuration)
- Charging connector 3: always DC
A maximum of 3 charging connectors are available.
4. Configuration for stations with 2 charging connectors
If the charging station has only 2 charging connectors:
- Use charging connector 1 and charging connector 2
- Charging connector 3 must not be selected, as it will not respond.
5. Notes
With the Legacy model, a minimum current of 6A may lead to insufficient power consumption.
Recommandation : Set the minimum current to 20A.
