EVbee
EVbee – Enable Modbus TCP
This guide describes how to enable the Modbus TCP interface on an EVbee charging station so that the CLEMAP load management system can control it.
Prerequisites
- Smartphone with Bluetooth enabled
- EVbee Service app (Google Play Store / Apple App Store)
- The charging station is powered on and connected via LAN or Wi-Fi to the same network as the CLEMAP system
Procedure
- Install the EVbee Service app on your smartphone.
- Stand near the charging station and connect locally via Bluetooth using "Scan to Connect".
- Open the charging station's advanced settings. Depending on the software version, they are located under "Charger Management" or "Connectivity / Network Configuration".
- Enable Modbus TCP as the local integration interface and save the setting.
- Note the IP address and port of the charging station (see notes).
Notes
- IP address: Assign a fixed IP address to the charging station (static in the charging station or via a DHCP reservation in the router). If the IP address changes, the CLEMAP load management system can no longer reach the charging station.
- Port: The default is 502. On some devices it is 1502 – check the value shown in the app.
