What happens if the communication between CLEMAP and the charging stations is interrupted?

Depending on the type of connection, CLEMAP Load Management offers various solutions in case of communication interruption to ensure the safety of the parking area.

Charging stations controlled locally via Modbus TCP

The default set limit (when a charging station is not actively charging) corresponds to the minimum current, for example, 6 A. This way, in the event of a communication interruption, all stations that were not actively charging at that moment will have saved the last value equal to the minimum current.

Many charging stations additionally offer a fallback current in case there is no communication from the CLEMAP Load Management for a few seconds or minutes. This fallback current needs to be set directly in the interface of the respective charging station. Please refer to the documentation of the respective manufacturer.

Easee

Zaptec

The fallback current can be set in the Zaptec portal. Please refer to the manufacturer's documentation.
