Cascading provides the ability to control one CLEMAP device from another CLEMAP device. A controller device can control multiple follower devices, but a follower device can only be controlled by one controller device. This is useful in complex installations, such as those spread across multiple floors.

## Important Points to Consider

- A controller device can control multiple follower devices, but a follower device can only be controlled by one controller device.
- All CLEMAP devices must be on the same network, and their local IP addresses must be known.
- An activation fee applies per cascading level. Contact us for pricing information.
- Communication between CLEMAP devices takes place via a REST API interface.
- The minimum limit set for the slave device serves as a fallback value in case communication is interrupted.
