The **CLEMAP Load Management** is equipped with two relay outputs (OUT A and OUT B), which – depending on the configuration – automatically open or close. These outputs can be used, for example, to control a contactor or to activate other external components.

**Important note:**

The relay outputs of the CLEMAP do **not** provide their own voltage. If voltage is required at the output, an external **24 VDC power supply** must be used.

Laboratory tests have shown that the transistor output of the CLEMAP cannot supply the inrush current required by certain relays (e.g. Finder 20A models). As a result, the output goes into saturation, which causes a voltage drop.

- With relays from the **Finder Series 38**, which require a lower inrush current, the control works without issue. The tested model (8 A) reliably covers many applications\:Link to the tested relay (Finder Series 38, 8 A)
- If higher current (e.g. 20 A) is required, two relays can be connected in series. This configuration was also successfully tested in the laboratory.

The configuration of the outputs is done directly on the device via the following menu:

**Device Config > External Output Mapping**.
