**Configuration of the DEFA Power charging station with Modbus TCP:**

- Download the** DEFA Power Setup **app on your mobile phone.
- Remove the **Power-Base **plug from the charger and connect the **Ethernet cable** to the charging station.**C**

- Reinsert the **Power-Base **plug into the charger, secure it physically using the provided key, then connect the power cable to switch the charger on.

- **Launch the app**, register or log in. Allow the app to search for **Bluetooth devices**, then **connect to the DEFA Power charging station.**
- Before enabling Modbus TCP, check under “About the charger” that the firmware version is higher than 4.1.1.
- **Modbus TCP is disabled by default** and must be enabled manually.
  In the app, navigate to:
  **Charger System > Setup > Junction Settings > Modbus **→ switch to **ON**.

- Connect the laptop to the local network and run an IP scanner tool (e.g., **Advanced IP Scanner**) to identify the IP address of the charging station.
