# EVbee – Enable Modbus TCP

This guide describes how to enable the Modbus TCP interface on an EVbee charging station so that the CLEMAP load management system can control it.

## Prerequisites

- Smartphone with Bluetooth enabled
- **EVbee Service** app (Google Play Store / Apple App Store)
- The charging station is powered on and connected via LAN or Wi-Fi to the same network as the CLEMAP system

## Procedure

1. Install the **EVbee Service** app on your smartphone.
2. Stand near the charging station and connect locally via Bluetooth using **"Scan to Connect"**.
3. Open the charging station's advanced settings. Depending on the software version, they are located under **"Charger Management"** or **"Connectivity / Network Configuration"**.
4. Enable **Modbus TCP** as the local integration interface and save the setting.
5. Note the **IP address** and **port** of the charging station (see notes).

## Notes

- **IP address:** Assign a fixed IP address to the charging station (static in the charging station or via a DHCP reservation in the router). If the IP address changes, the CLEMAP load management system can no longer reach the charging station.
- **Port:** The default is **502**. On some devices it is **1502** – check the value shown in the app.
