Please read the [EVTEC](docId:6DHRjiBHTpHrZSYPbT0_-) page completely before starting the configuration.
:::

### 1. Basic principle

For the integration of an EVTEC charging station via Modbus 1.0, each charging connector (plug) must be created as a separate charging station.

Only in this way can the load management function correctly between the individual charging connectors.

**Important:**

- The same IP address is used for all charging connectors.
- Port: 5020

### 2. Selecting the correct plugs

Several plug options are available during configuration.

⚠ **Important: **The variants marked with “(Legacy)” must always be used.

### 3. Technical configuration of the plugs

### 4. Configuration for stations with 2 charging connectors

If the charging station has only 2 charging connectors:

- Use charging connector 1 and charging connector 2
- Charging connector 3 must not be selected, as it will not respond.

### 5. Notes

With the Legacy model, a minimum current of 6A may lead to insufficient power consumption.

**Recommandation** : Set the minimum current to 20A.
