TQ EM420 (Unieq Box Family)
- Connect the device to your LAN via Ethernet Cable
- Determine the IP address of the device:
- By default, if DHCP is enabled on the EM420 device, it will automatically receive an IP address from your network router. To find this IP address:
- Check your router's DHCP client list for the EM420 device (using its MAC address, often printed on a label).
- Alternatively, if UPnP is enabled, the device should automatically appear in the network environment on Windows PCs, allowing you to find its IP address.
- If you have previously set a static IP address, you will need to use that IP to access the web interface.
- Access the Web Interface:
- Open a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Microsoft Internet Explorer does not work.
- In the address bar, type the device's IP address (e.g., http://192.168.x.x).
- Login Credentials:
- You will be prompted for a password. The default password is printed on a sticker on the device.
- If the default credentials were changed and you don't remember them, you can reset the device's web interface password:
- Press the reset button and hold it for 3-5 seconds (a long press) and then a short press (about half a second).
- The device will shortly blink orange twice to confirm the password has been reset to the factory default.
- You can now use the credentials on the type label to log in again.

- Dashboard:
- Once you log in you will see the device's dashboard, where you can perform all the settings:

- Network Settings:
- Click on "Device settings"->"Network settings". Here, you can set a static IP address and its mask or enable DHCP so that the device gets assigned an IP address from the DHCP server.
